Downland Marketing is the UK’s largest network of privately owned independent merchants specialising in distributing a range of agricultural animal health and nutrition products.  We have a vacancy for a Procurement Manager.

The role’s key responsibility is the co-ordination of preferential group buying terms through communication with franchisees and suppliers.  This involves identifying franchisee needs, researching potential suppliers (local and international), organising the logistics and ensuring fulfilment.  This role is a new position in a busy team and will support the continued expansion and success of Downland.

Applicants should preferably have a minimum of 2 years’ experience of working in a similar role and possess competency in Microsoft Office.  Experience in international sourcing would be a benefit.
